The palace may be visited on an individual basis using our Visual Guide system. No guided tours are currently available. Waiting times may occur on weekends or during popular visiting times.


Tuesday to Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Closed on Mondays


Extended opening hours until 8 p.m. on Saturdays between 1 June and 20 August.


The ticket desk closes 1 hour before the end of the prevailing opening hours.


We are open on national holidays.


Additional extraordinary extended opening days in 2021, when the palace will be open until 10 p.m. during special events, are the following:


Tata Patara – Turkish Era Historical Festival

Night of Museums

Water, Music, Flower Festival

Neszmély Wine Festival and Fish Days

Lake Öreg Great Fisherman’s Festival


Adults:  3,000 HUF


Concession:  1,500 HUF

  • children and young adults aged 6-26
  • visitors aged 62 and over
  • one adult accompanying at least two children under the age of 18     

Family ticket:  6,000 HUF

  • 1 or 2 adults + 1 or more children under the age of 18     

Group ticket:  2,400 HUF per head

  • for a group of minimum 15 people

For residents of Tata holding a Tata Card:  1,000 HUF per head

Borrowing a Visual Guide device: 1,000 HUF per device


Visiting the Esterházy Salon Café in the baronial building is a special experience in itself, for which it is not necessary to purchase a ticket. The café is open between 11 a.m-6 p.m.
